Having trained and worked within two of the Big Four Accountancy firms, and with nearly 20 years’ experience in dealing with a variety of owner managed businesses throughout the UK, Anthony joined Burton Sweet Corporate Recovery as a consultant in February 2017 and works out of their South Coast office in Bournemouth. His geographical area covers Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon and the Isle of Wight, although he travels Nationwide, as the business may demand.
Anthony has extensive experience in advising distressed businesses on a wide range of diverse and often complex situations, providing practical solutions with the aim of preserving or maximising jobs, assets and wealth, wherever possible.
He has built up a strong reputation in the Corporate Turnaround and Restructuring sector and continues to assist businesses through providing consultancy advice to help sustain and support business growth.

Jane runs her own successful PR agency, Jane Jones PR & Events from an office in the centre of Ashley Cross. It is also the home of Poole Chamber of Trade and Commerce where Jane and her staff offer the much needed admin support and the PR and event management for the Chamber.
Many local businesses and residents will know of Jane through her Party in the Park on the green in Ashley Cross. Jane also runs other high profile events locally during the year through her work with private clients and of course the many events that the Chamber hosts at various venues locally.
Having been a board member for nearly two years, Jane is keen to encourage other likeminded individuals to realise the benefits of joining the chamber and quick to point out that the only way to really get something out of membership is to put something in. In other words your voice will be heard in the local business community if you contribute to the success of the Chamber and shout about it.
Neil Cook Head of the business Services department on 1st December 2015. The department is based in our Head Office in Bournemouth and the team is made up of 2 Senior Solicitors, 1 Assistant Solicitor and 1 Legal Assistant. While the team are based in Bournemouth they regularly travel to our other offices to meet and advise clients.
Neil has a business background having trained in the deal orientated legal department of a London Stock Exchange listed company where he remained for a number of years post qualification. He then worked in the city for and entrepreneurial company which specialised in buying and selling companies. This led to a two month business trip to New York to oversee a takeover turning into a seven year residence and re-qualification as an attorney in the State of New York. While in the US he was General Counsel for a New York Stock Exchange Listed company for seven years during which time the company's turnover increased from $25m to $1bn mainly through acquisition. On returning to the UK Neil joined Sphere Drake Holdings, a major London Market insurer, as group Solicitor.
I've lived in Poole for 15 years, and am married to Tracey with three teenage daughters.
My background is in business over 27 years, with ten of those at British Airways as a general manager across customer service, sales, flight operations and scheduling. This was followed by 17 years as a business consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, IBM and Deloitte Consulting, helping enterprises grow and working with public sector organisations to deliver value for money.
As councillor, I'll be championing a vibrant economy for Poole and a smarter delivery of cost-effective services to our people. Throughout I'll want to preserve what's special about our Borough, keeping it a great place to live.
Farah manages Poole Hospital Charity and also looks after the Corporate Fundraising for the Hospital. The charity is set up to provide additional equipment and facilities that the NHS provision won’t cover. Farah’s team provide assistance to entire hospital and therefore always need the support from the community and businesses to help improve their local hospital.
With a strong background in B2B customer service, events and fundraising Farah channels her passion into representing and marketing a cause. Being the Manager of a local charity for a busy hospital means Farah is responsible for dealing with many businesses and also running events, this has meant the support from the chamber has been invaluable.
As a new board member Farah is keen to promote the benefits of joining the chamber and to build our membership. She has seen first-hand how the chamber can really help businesses not only with introductions but in being a voice for our Poole trading community.
