About Us

WHO ARE WE? 

•  We represent the whole spectrum of the local business community within the Poole and District Area and provide a consensus view to all levels of government and to the media .
• Being non-political we can support or oppose any authority whose activities affect the business community within Poole and District.
• We liase with the relevant local authority departments on proposed changes to traffic schemes.
• We review planning applications and make representations where appropriate and inform members who may be affected.
• Through presentations and newsletters we help keep members abreast of changes in the law as it affect them.
• We provide a platform for networking and the discussion of topics concerning trade and the general welfare of the area as a whole.
• We are affiliated to the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry. (DCCI)
• We are represented on the Bournemouth International Airport Consultative Committee.
• We are represented on the Poole Town Centre Management Board.
• We liase/Cooperate with other Business Community Associations within the area.
• We attend all Area Committee meetings on behalf of members and present their view if needed.
